Young ODs Program

The Young ODs Program is for NCOS members that have been practicing 10 or less years. The program provides an opportunity for younger members to connect and network, collectively share and embrace present issues facing young OD’s and optometry as a profession, and to start getting involved in the society. This is done by putting together social events in different regions throughout the state.

Current Young OD Representatives per region:

Eastern: Dr. Ali Jaffry and Dr. Will Sawyer - meetings held in Raleigh
Mountain: Dr. Casey Krug - meetings held in Asheville
Piedmont: Dr. Andrew Burrows and Dr. Emilie Seitz - meetings held in Charlotte
Southeastern: Dr. Krista Roberts - meetings held in Wilmington
